Hi, I'm Darren — welcome.

This site's been a while in the making, and it's finally starting to feel like somewhere I actually want to point people to. It's split into three parts, because that's honestly how I think of myself: there's Darren Carter, just me — my hobbies, my history, the ordinary stuff. There's TPN Explorer, which is where I talk about life on TPN, the challenges I take on each year, and why I refuse to let it keep me indoors. And there's Dr-Disco, where the music lives — DJing on BoomFM and the tracks I make in between.

I'll be using this blog to write properly about all three, as and when I've got something worth saying. Some of it will be light — DJ sets, daft hobbies, road trips. Some of it won't be — the TPN side of my life hasn't always been easy, and I want to write about that honestly rather than just the highlights reel.
