Living on TPN, building the tools I wished existed, and exploring my creative side along the way.
I live with complex health conditions and depend on TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) — intravenous feeding, because my gut can't do the job on its own. It's meant more hospital admissions than I can count, and the same exhausting routine every time: explaining my full history, medications, and care plan from scratch to whoever's in front of me, often while I'm at my worst.
That frustration is what pushed me to start building. If clinicians couldn't easily get the full picture of who I am and what I need, I'd build something that could hand it to them instantly. This site is where I'm documenting that journey — the projects it's led to, and what I've learned about living well with a condition like mine, including the toll it's taken on my mental health and the value of connecting with other "tubies" going through the same thing.
